The Turquoise and Lace Pendants are the combination of southwest flair and southern belle nostalgia. This design was inspired by moments captured in my childhood while growing up as a daughter of a southern woman. My sister and I were often seen wearing lace-adorned dresses and skirts in family photos. Memories of the charm of a southern belle and a southwestern cowgirl have influenced some of my work. The lace associated with a southern belle style and turquoise capturing a southwestern style make this a unique piece of blended memories. These sculptural art pieces were hand-crafted using forging and texturizing techniques with layers of hand-sawn sterling silver.
